The closest habitable planet to the Sraffan homeworld of H'poctyl, Pinna IV was colonized a millennium ago by the emigration-averse Sraffans, and today is home to more Sraffans than any planet other than the Sraffan homeworld. It is a so-called "super-temperate" planet, with a relatively narrow band of habitable area between an oversized icecap and a wide, blisteringly-hot equatorial region. Land values rise to near-astronomical levels toward the center of this temperate band.
